Every year, South High School hosts the Air Capital drill meet. There, cadets from all around the Wichita area and a couple from surrounding states compete in categories including drill, color guard and exhibition.
This year, an armed and unarmed drill teams, varsity and junior varsity color guards, and a solo exhibition represented us. Unfortunately, we did not bring home any trophies, but this is a rebuilding year. The only thing we can do now is practice and hope that we get a better team next year.
