#Lefthandprobz

One thing I have come to learn about this planet that we live on, is that I live in a right-handed world. I didn’t really notice this obvious fact until recently, but it’s hard to notice things that simply do not apply to you when they are meant for right handed people.
Yes, I’m left handed, and it’s funny the things that I have started to notice that are made for right handed people, such as desks, pens, pencil sharpeners, cameras, computer mouses, binders/notebooks and many other things.
I guess since only 10% of the world’s population is left-handed, this unfortunately makes sense. That’s right, to the left-handers out there, we’re the minority. But in reality, this isn’t something to be ashamed of. Left handed people are more likely to be intelligent, and even some of the most famous people of mankind have been lefties, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Pablo Picasso, Mozart, Beethoven, Napoleon Bonaparte, Albert Einstein and even Barack Obama (oh wait, that’s not saying much).
So maybe there are times when I get angry at my notebook for having its binding on the left, making my handwriting look like crap, and maybe I get annoyed when my writing is smeared across the paper.
However, all in all, it’s simply who I am, and if being me means that I am naturally a genius, with a potential to be someone worth knowing, then I’m perfectly fine with being a lefty.
