Northwest custodians bundled up in an effort to remove snow from essential walk ways and parking areas on Wednesday, Feb. 2. The recent snow storm brought about 6 in. of snow to Wichita. That, coupled with dangerous wind chills, is the reason all USD 259 students were asked to stay home from school Tuesday-Thursday. Teachers and administrators reported to work Thursday.

The snow clean up is not as easy as it looks… it takes a lot of determination to shovel and toss snow. Great job custodial staff!
